FAQ's

What is clothing consignment?

Clothing consignment is when you bring in your gently used (or new) items for us to sell on your behalf. Once the item sells, you receive a portion of the sale.

How does selling on consignment work?

You bring in your items, and we select what our customers are currently looking for and what we know is selling. We then price and display those items in-store and online. When they sell, you earn a percentage of the sale price. Please don’t take it personally if we don’t accept certain items—we focus on what we know we can sell for you.

Do items need to be freshly cleaned before consignment?

Yes—items should be clean and ready to hit the sales floor. The better shape your items are in, the faster they sell and often for more. Items that are excessively wrinkled may be passed on.

When should I bring in seasonal items?

We accept seasonal items on the following schedule: summer starting April 15, fall starting June 15, winter starting October 15, and spring starting January 15. We also accept jeans and athletic wear year-round.

Do I need an appointment to consign clothing?

No appointment is needed—just bring your items during regular business hours. If you prefer to “drop and run,” you can do so anytime. If you would like any unselected items returned, you will need to come in Monday–Friday between 8 AM and 4 PM. We do not hold unselected items for later pickup.

How many items can I bring in at one time?

We recommend bringing a manageable amount at a time. If you have a large drop-off, call ahead.

What items do you not accept?

We do not accept outdated styles, overly worn items, discount store brands, baby clothes, or anything not in season.
